Dragusin's agent has confirmed there is plenty of English interest in the centre-back as he is currently in London and has held meetings with several top teams, including Arsenal, their north London rivals Tottenham and Newcastle.

"I have been in London for some time and have almost weekly meetings with important teams," his representative said, according to Chris Wheatley. "We are getting closer. I spoke with Newcastle, with Arsenal, with Tottenham. I also have messages with them, conversations. There are teams that ask [about Dragusin]."

Dragusin left Romania to join Juventus' youth academy in 2018 and has since blossomed during loan spells at Sampdoria, Salerinitana and Genoa, before joining the latter on a permanent deal this year as he helped them secure promotion back to Serie A.
