Wrexham booked their place in the third round of the FA Cup with a 3-0 victory on home soil against the Glovers. The tie saw the Welsh side come up against a familiar face, with striker Jake Hyde, who played for the Red Dragons from 2021 to 2023, lining up for Yeovil.

Reynolds posted an Instagram Story with some kind words for Yeovil and Hyde, saying: "Not [Yeovil Town’s] day today, but I love seeing how well they’re doing in their league," Reynolds wrote. "A fantastic team. Nice to see [Jake Hyde] out there."

A tough test awaits Wrexham in the next round as they have been handed an away match against Shrewsbury Town, who are a division above them, sitting 12th in League One. That game will be played between January 5 and 7.
