Portland Thorns duo Sophia Smith and Becky Sauerbrunn are back in the USWNT squad. Sauerbrunn, who missed the 2023 Women's World Cup due to a foot injury, makes a comeback into the national team while Smith was not included in the USWNT squad for the September friendlies as she was carrying a knee injury at that time.
